Louisville experiences

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
Home to some of baseball's most notable names, a trip to Louisville isn't complete without visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and the World's Biggest Bat. While you're there, take a few swings with a model of Babe Ruth's famous Slugger. And before you head out, don't forget to take home a personalized bat, all your own.

Churchill Downs & the Kentucky Derby Museum
Home of the Kentucky Derby, this iconic Thoroughbred racetrack is a Louisville treasure. With more than 70 days of racing a year, there are plenty of opportunities to see this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. Even if you don't catch a race, you can tour the facilities and learn about the derby's history at the Kentucky Derby Museum.

Muhammad Ali Center
Located in the heart of downtown, the award-winning Muhammad Ali Center welcomes guests to explore the legendary boxer's six core values—respect, confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, and spirituality. Visitors will see Civil Rights-era footage and videos of Ali's famous fights.

Bluegrass music scene
Born in Kentucky, bluegrass is a Louisville staple. LouGrass, the city's evolution of the genre, hosts free shows from famous and award-winning musicians from April through October. If you're visiting outside of those months, you'll be sure to find plenty of bluegrass shows taking place around the city.
